This page explains what happens to your information when you use this website. It is written to follow the UAE Personal Data Protection Law (Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021).
Who we are
This website belongs to Dr Ekaterina Panteleeva (Dr Kate). She is responsible for the personal data described here. “We” on this page means Dr Kate.

What we collect
The site has no forms and no accounts, so you cannot send us personal information through it.
If you message Dr Kate on WhatsApp, WhatsApp (owned by Meta) handles that conversation under its own privacy policy. Dr Kate receives what you choose to send, such as your name, number and messages.
You do not have to include detailed medical information in your first message. If you prefer, keep it for your consultation.
Analytics, only with your consent
If you choose Accept in the cookie banner, the site uses two analytics tools to see how it is used. If you choose Decline, or make no choice, neither tool runs and neither sets cookies.
- Google Analytics 4 records pages viewed, device and browser type, approximate location and clicks on the WhatsApp buttons. See Google’s privacy policy.
- Microsoft Clarity records how pages are used, including session recordings, with any text typed into fields masked. See Microsoft’s privacy statement.
Hosting
The site is hosted by Vercel, which processes technical request data, such as your IP address, to deliver the site and keep it secure. See Vercel’s privacy policy.

Your Accept or Decline choice itself is not a cookie. It is saved in your browser’s local storage under drkate_consent_v1, so the site does not ask on every page. It stays on your device.

International transfers
Google, Microsoft, Meta (WhatsApp) and Vercel may process data outside the UAE.
How long data is kept
- Google Analytics data: 14 months.
- Microsoft Clarity data: Microsoft’s standard retention period.
- Your cookie choice: 6 months, after which the site asks again.
Your rights
Under the UAE Personal Data Protection Law you can ask to:
- see the personal data we hold about you
- correct it
- delete it
- restrict how it is used
- object to how it is used
- withdraw your consent at any time (for analytics, use Cookie settings)
